The screen goes dark on its own. That is the sleep timer. Tap once to bring the controls back, then pick a longer duration, or the infinity setting to leave it on all night.
I can't see the controls. They fade after about 45 seconds so the room stays calm. Tap anywhere on the screen and they come back.
The scene is too bright. Use the dimmer in the tray rather than the iPad's own brightness. It goes considerably darker.
There's no sound. Check the iPad's volume and that it is not muted. The app keeps playing through the silent switch and through screen lock by design.
Does it need the internet? No. Everything is on the device. It works in airplane mode.
What does the tip buy? Nothing. The app is complete and free, with no locked features and no ads. The tip is a thank-you, and it goes toward a five-year-old's school fund.
I paid a tip and it's asking again. Make sure the iPad is signed in to the same Apple Account that made the purchase, then close the app fully and reopen it. It checks with the App Store on launch and the thank-you comes back. If it still asks, email the address above.
